Roofing Sales & Project Consultant
This role is for a motivated person who can build trust with homeowners, assess their needs and provide the right solution. You are the face of JC&C Roofing Company and the client’s guide through the whole process.
What we are looking for
- A proven track record in sales, preferably in home services (roofing, windows, siding)
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, with a strong desire to achieve and exceed goals
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new software
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough, no-pressure in-home consultations and roof inspections
- Use our software and processes to create detailed estimates and clear proposals
- Educate homeowners on their options and guide them through the decision
- Manage your pipeline and keep clients informed through to a successful close
- Work with our project management team on a handoff that exceeds expectations

Do I need previous roofing or sales experience?
Roofing experience is not required. Entry-level candidates need sales experience of any kind, and we train you in roofing. Experienced sales professionals from home services can often start at higher compensation levels.

How does the compensation work?
A guaranteed base salary starting at $1,600 per month, depending on experience, uncapped commission, performance bonuses for exceeding targets, and a lead generation bonus on leads you bring in yourself.
Total on-target earnings range from $80,000 to $150,000+ for motivated sales professionals.
What training do you provide?
Ongoing training through the JC&C Roofing Academy:
- Onboarding: two weeks of intensive training on roofing basics, sales and our systems
- Product knowledge: materials, installation methods and best practices
- Sales method: our consultative approach, built on trust
- Software: our CRM and sales tools
- Ongoing: weekly coaching and monthly workshops
- Leadership training for those moving toward management
How quickly will I hear back?

What are the hours?
Monday to Friday, with some Saturday availability for customer appointments. You can set some of your own appointment times around customer availability, and occasional Saturday consultations are paid at premium rates.
Roofing can be seasonal, but Houston’s climate offers the potential for year-round work.
