Terms of Service
The rules for using myroofimprovement.com, and how they relate to the written contract you sign when we work on your property.
Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”), and JC&C Roofing Company (“we,” “us,” or “our”), concerning your access to and use of www.myroofimprovement.com and any related tools or applications (the “Site”).
By using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information and is part of these Terms. Other supplemental terms posted on the Site from time to time are also incorporated by reference.
Your Contract Comes First
Website terms vs. your roofing contract
These Terms govern your use of the website. Roofing work is governed by the written estimate, proposal, or contract you sign with us. If anything in these Terms conflicts with your signed contract, your signed contract controls.
Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise indicated, the Site is our property. All source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site (the “Content”) and the trademarks, service marks, and logos on it (the “Marks”) are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The Content and Marks are provided for your information and personal use only. Except as expressly allowed in these Terms, no part of the Site, Content, or Marks may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise used for any commercial purpose without our prior written permission.
This includes the photographs of our completed projects, our logos and graphics, our website text and page designs, and our estimate and proposal templates. All of it belongs solely to JC&C Group, LLC. No other business may copy, adapt or present any of it as its own, in whole or in part, including by changing the company name on our templates or reusing our images or logos on another website, listing or advertisement.
Photographs and Videos of Your Property
We photograph and film roofs during inspections, estimates and the work itself. These terms explain who owns those images and how they can be used.
Who owns them
All photographs and videos taken by JC&C employees and crews during an inspection, estimate, repair or replacement (“Job Photos”) are the property of JC&C Group, LLC, doing business as JC&C Roofing Company, including all rights in them.
Copies we share with you
We normally share Job Photos with the property owner, whether or not any work follows. JC&C decides which Job Photos to share and in what form, and may limit sharing.
You may keep the copies we share for your personal records, and you may provide them to your own insurance company, adjuster or legal representative in connection with a claim on that property. Any other use requires JC&C’s prior written consent, including giving them to another contractor, posting them online or on social media, publishing them, or using them for any commercial purpose.
How we may use them
JC&C Roofing Company may use Job Photos in promotional videos, on our website, on social media and in other marketing materials. When we do, we do not disclose the property’s address or location, and we take reasonable steps to avoid showing house numbers, license plates or people’s faces.
Opting out of marketing use
If you do not want photographs or videos of your property used in our promotional marketing, email hello@jccroofing.com with “Photo opt-out” in the subject line and the property address. We will not use them in promotional marketing after we receive your request, and we will remove existing posts that we control as soon as reasonably possible.
Estimates and Proposals Are Confidential
Our written estimates, proposals, inspection reports and pricing documents are prepared for you and the property named on them. They are the confidential property of JC&C Group, LLC, doing business as JC&C Roofing Company.
What this means
- You may use our estimate to make your decision and keep it for your records.
- You may not share, disclose or show our estimates or proposals to another roofing contractor or competitor, or give them copies.
- No competitor may use our estimates, proposals, templates or pricing documents, or any part of them, as their own.
- You may share them with your own insurance company, lender, attorney or co-owner of the property where needed for the project.
Prices we publish on this website are public and are not covered by this section.
Using the Site
By using the Site, you represent that:
- Any information you submit through our forms, estimator, or messages is true, accurate, and your own (or you are authorized to submit it)
- You have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms
- You are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live
- You will not access the Site through automated means such as bots or scripts, except search engines indexing public pages
- You will not use the Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
The Site does not offer customer accounts or logins. If you submit information that is false or that you are not authorized to share, we may decline to respond to it or to provide services based on it.
Roofing Services and Pricing
JC&C Roofing Company provides roofing services including replacement, repair, maintenance, and inspection. All services are subject to:
- A separate written estimate, proposal, or contract
- Applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, and permit requirements
- Manufacturer warranties, where applicable, under the manufacturer’s own terms
- Our workmanship warranty, as stated in your signed contract
Prices on this Site are estimates
Prices, ranges, package rates, promotions, and results from our online estimator are for planning purposes only and are not an offer or a binding quote. Your final price is set in a written estimate after we inspect your roof, because the condition of the decking, the number of existing layers, the roof’s pitch, and local code requirements can only be confirmed on site.
Promotions are subject to the conditions stated with them and may end without notice. We may correct pricing errors on the Site at any time.
Information, Not Advice
Our blog posts, guides, cost pages, and FAQs are written to help property owners understand roofing, storms, and insurance. They are general information, not legal, insurance, financial, or engineering advice for your specific situation. Laws, codes, insurance practices, and prices change, so please confirm anything important before you rely on it.
About insurance claims
JC&C Roofing Company is a roofing contractor, not a public adjuster or an attorney. Texas law does not allow a contractor to act as a public adjuster, or to advertise adjusting services, on a property it works on or may work on (Texas Insurance Code §4102.163). We can inspect and document damage, and meet your adjuster on site, but decisions about your claim are between you and your insurance company. For help with a disputed claim, talk to a licensed public adjuster or an attorney.
Prohibited Activities
You may use the Site only for the purpose we make it available: learning about our services and contacting us. You agree not to:
- Systematically copy or scrape content or data from the Site to build a collection, database, or directory without our written permission
- Trick, defraud, or mislead us or other users, including by impersonating another person or submitting forms in someone else’s name
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Site
- Use information obtained from the Site to harass, abuse, or harm another person
- Submit spam, false reports, or automated messages through our forms
- Frame the Site, or present our content or photographs as another company’s work
- Upload or transmit viruses or other material that interferes with anyone’s use of the Site
- Use data-mining tools, robots, or similar extraction tools on the Site
Nothing in these Terms limits your right to post an honest review of our work, anywhere.
Payment and Financing
Payment terms for roofing work are set out in your written contract. Depending on the project, we accept:
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover) and debit cards
- Check, cashier’s check or money order
- Zelle, ACH bank transfer or wire transfer
- Cash
- Financing through approved lenders
Financing
We offer financing through Wells Fargo Home Improvement credit programs. Applications are made directly with Wells Fargo and are subject to credit approval under Wells Fargo’s own terms. See our roof financing page for details.

Protect yourself from payment fraud
We will never ask you to change payment instructions, wire money to a new account, or pay with gift cards by email or text. If you receive a request like that which appears to come from us, call (713) 766-3464 before you pay.
Text Messaging Terms
If you agree to receive text messages from JC&C Roofing Company, these terms apply:
- Sender: JC&C Roofing Company, from (832) 590-3700
- What we send: appointment confirmations and reminders, updates about your estimate, project, or insurance claim, replies to your questions, and occasional offers or storm notices
- Frequency: varies by project
- Cost: message and data rates may apply
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages unless you opt back in

- Not required: consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying any service
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. How we handle your number is explained in the Text Messaging section of our Privacy Policy.
Service Area
JC&C Roofing Company serves the Greater Houston area from offices in Tomball and Houston. Our full list of communities is on our service areas page.
We may:
- Decline work outside our service area
- Apply a travel fee for work outside our standard service area, which will be stated in your written estimate
- Adjust scheduling based on location, weather, and demand, especially after major storms

Third-Party Sites and Tools
The Site links to and includes tools from other companies, such as our Roofr instant estimator, Wells Fargo financing, review platforms, YouTube videos, and manufacturer websites. Those companies operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the linked site.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Site is provided “as is”
We work to keep the Site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or current at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” This disclaimer applies to the website only. The warranties for roofing work are the ones stated in your signed contract and the manufacturer’s warranty documents.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JC&C Roofing Company and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the Site.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Site is limited to the amount, if any, that you paid us in connection with that claim.
Some laws, including Texas consumer protection laws, do not allow certain warranties or damages to be limited or excluded. If those laws apply to you, some of these limitations may not apply, and you may have additional rights. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under your signed contract.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any legal action relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, unless your signed contract provides otherwise.
If you have a concern about our work, please call us first at (713) 766-3464. Most problems are solved fastest by putting someone on your roof.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. Changes apply from the date they are posted and do not change any contract you have already signed.
If you keep using the Site after an update, you accept the updated Terms.
